In 2021, I was invited by percussion ensemble Speak Percussion to collaborate on their Darebin Fuse Festival project at the Bundoora Homestead Art Centre.

Before Nightfall #13 was created in collaboration with Bundoora Homestead, Speak Percussion and acclaimed Noongar writer Claire G. Coleman. The project responded to my 2018-2020 site-specific video artwork, Collider, featured in the Darebin Art Collection.

Part of the Fuse Festival Program, Before Nightfall #13 was a unique music experience to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. A sculptural package, including 4 new audio recordings on a custom-made USB, a poem and photographic documentation of the artistic process, was mailed directly to participants, to be experienced during lockdown and beyond.
